Computers do everything using only 1's and 0's. This can become super hard to read, so humans often convert these 0's and 1's into a (slightly) more human readable form, called Hex! This is a conversion from Binary to Hex: 001010101111010111010001000011100010 = 3af5d10e2 See, isn't that much easier to read than a long patter of 0's and 1's? As a computer engineer, I convert binary to hex on a daily basis. It's a rather easy activity, which just takes a little bit of practice.
